The campsite maintenance volunteer grooms existing campsites. The day-to-day involves cleaning up trash, debris, rocks, twigs, and other MOOP (matter out of place). This role involves occasional grooming of brush and vegetation removal to enlarge specific campsites as well as to create new ones as directed. Really cool place in the southern California desert near Joshua Tree! Rosemarie is very kind and the things she has you working on are creative and fun. You need to bring your own tent—nights can get a bit chilly so warm pjs are a good idea. Relax in the sun, hang out at the outdoor bar, eat delicious meals from the full outdoor kitchen, Sit around one of the fire pits, listen to the coyotes at night, and hike in the mountains. A unique place surrounded by good people.
