The Exchange

Just in front of the best beach in the small eco touristic town of Mahahual, perfect location that offers privacy and contact with nature. Located south east of Mexico in the Caribbean coast, 100 meters south from the lighthouse. The area offers ecological and aquatic activities, scuba diving, snorkeling, kite surfing, kayaking, crocodile and migratory bird watching, temazal ritual, massages, yoga, and the famous Chinchorro national park tour.


30 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops and care for animals.

Gardening: Help to grow and cultivate plants.

Night Shift: Help with night tasks to make the place relaxing for all guests

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

While we serve as a distinguished eco-lodge for guests and student programs from around the globe who want to learn more about sustainability, the volunteer program allows participants to contribuite to the community in which all members play a part, and all these parts are vital to the complete circle of life that is Rancho Margot. Activities & Shift

Areas where we need help:
-clean the beach and common spaces
-painting ( decorating) arts, murals
-gardening- caring of plants
-farming- planting and caring of fruit and vegetables garden.
-helping guests.
-social media/internet, creating content, promoting.

No drinking alcohol when you're on your shift.
Work in good condition, with no hang over, or good sleep.
Respect for other people's person and property.
No guests with out manager's permission.
Use of installations or equipment with prior permission only
Maintain clean your dorm and common areas,
Pick up trash in your way.
