Silvia and Jesus are great. They are quite different and authentic people, they make you feel at home. As for the place, if you expect to find a tidy and clean space, it will be a bit difficult for you and I would say that this place is not for you. Regarding volunteering, the tasks are very varied, from helping in the garden, building, carrying construction materials, to helping with housework. Finally, keep in mind that it is cold in the house since the heating is handmade.

A great way to experience self sufficiency first hand. The people here are hospitable and warm, and will include you in the local community and make sure you are not bored. It is however located quite remotely and it is difficult to go on solo adventures. I also recommend understanding and speaking more than basic Spanish as it is the language they will comunícate to you in.

Muy agradecido con Silvia y Jesús por haberme abierto las puertas de su hogar. Compartiendo momentos de risa, anécdotas, y comidas exquisitas cada dia. Han sido y son grandes maestros para mi, que me enseñaron acerca de realizacion de alimentos, huerta, biologia, paciencia, tolerancia y amor. Gracias tambien por ser tan flexibles cuando lo necesite y de abrirme las puertas que pudieron para mejorar mi estadia y mis experiencias. Me voy muy contento con esta experiencia, siendo una mejor persona, y conservando varios amigos y amigas en este hermoso lugar de España, llamada Llagostera. ❤️❤️❤️

Silvia y Jesús me hicieron sentir muy cómoda, como en casa. Las tareas eran ayudar en los quehaceres de la casa, por ejemplo salsa de tomate, recolectar olivas, sembrar guisantes, plantar cebollas, entre otras. La comida que prepara Silvia y el pan que prepara Jesús son EXQUISITOS y además todo con ingredientes locales. Ambos tienen una muy linda manera de ver la vida, viven en abundancia 🧡. Jesús disfruta como nadie la playa, así que cada vez que podíamos nos íbamos a dar un chapuzón y disfrutar del la granja. Fue mi primer voluntariado y lo recomiendo muchísimo. Saludos Silvia y Jesús
