Program Details

In exchange for 25 hour of work per week you will get a bed in our volunteer housing, free laundry, breakfast in the hostel and a food tab at our attached restaurant (more than enough for meals here). The food tab is seven days a week, not just the days you work. We also have trade agreements with hostels on the mainland so you can explore San Juan or Fajardo on your days off and stay for free!

Activities & Shift

We want our guest to have a great time here on Vieques and work stay volunteers make that happen! We do it all including taking reservations, painting, checking in guests and cleaning both the hostel and our attached bar and restaurant. While the work is rarely physically difficult it is real work so we're looking for people who are self-motivated, friendly, have an eye for detail, can work in a team and take pride in a job well done.
