My experience at Estação Agroflorestal Marumbi was truly eye opening !
I have helped in many different tasks and that is what I liked the most, the diversity of the daily jobs. From harvesting different fruits that the forest gives, like bananas, avocados, inhame, the fruit that holds the coffee beans , cajá-mirim,… to create digital drawings for a catalogue of the agroforestry that Lara and Luiz are developing.
I also helped in the bio construction of a little house that in the ‘work in progress stage’ and it was great to help and learn at the same time about different types of techniques.
