The Experience

First of all, we are a relaxed and chilled out hostel outside tourist spot, however, we are very close to metro train station and 24 hour market. We're looking for night shifts who can promote party and connecting guests. We have a small cafe (co-working space) and bar at the lobby selling local beers and desserts. Ones who love to connect with people will fit this position. If you love to write a blog post, it's a plus.

Everyone made me feel so welcomed and were always so eager to help me learn Thai, make Thai food, navigate Bangkok, and so much more! The overnight task are extremely manageable! I even received printable with ever detail to refer back to in addition to the simple yet thorough training I received on my first working night! Afterwards it was a breeze. Extremely friendly staff, beautiful property, and it's conveniently located near a fresh market and walking distance to the MRT! If you decide to stay here I'm sure you'll love it and feel like you're apart of the family too!

Yim Hostel was my first experience in worlpackers and it was amazing! Im very happy to have been doing this volunteering for a month. The hostel is beautiful, very clean and comfortable.
Tem and his work team are extraordinary and lovely people, always attentive, they make you feel at home and they teach and help you in your daily work.
I also got to know the local life going with them to markrts, sharing meals, plays, talks and even a night out!
Without a doubt and INCREDIBLE experience that i will always remember!

I had a really great time at Yim! Everyone is super nice, the place is very beautiful and the work was lots of fun. The hostel is so comfortable, modern, colourful and it makes easy to be social with guests. The work was not hard at all (except for fully booked weekends on breakfast hour!hehehe), the staff has a lot of patience teaching you how to prepare everything and it is very cool to learn a little bit about coffee.
But the Yim family is what makes this place so amazing <3 I felt welcomed the minute I arrived in every small gesture. I made some awesome friends there and will be back :)

Yim Hostel was awesome. Its a really nice place with super friendly staff and owners. The work hours and days are really relaxed, maybe even a little too much. I would have loved more to do, to learn and to take responsibility for. But of course I cannot complain! The only downside for me was that most guests were Thai or Chinese and it was not really possible for me to interact with them due to language difficulties. But with the western guests I always had a lot of fun and especially with the other awesome volunteers and the YIM family! Thanks so much for an awesome time!
