What you offer

- Hours per week
- Help out and collaborate with your host only a few hours per week.

Nos ajude na pousada como recepcionista para atender os hóspedes, receber grupos, fazer tours pela propriedade e compreender nosso funcionamento para explicar aos turistas nossas praticas agroecológicas diárias. Outras tarefas dessa posição são: Arrumar mesas para o café da manhã, limpar o salão do restaurante e ajudar no funcionamento diário da Pousada com muita disposição e simpatia!

Location, food and people are awesome! We expected to have a bigger impact. However, we were „only“ allowed to shadow other workers and couldn't take responsibility. We expected to have a bigger impact, which we didn't have. Working with the receptionists, however, was fun! I could improve my portuguese :-)

What we expected: Working as a receptionist (with responsibility), having the chance to da certificate in permaculture and working 5 hours a day. Reality: The work is held at a minimum, as volunteers are not allowed to take responsibility. Meaning, it was more a shadowing of the paid receptionists, rather than really supporting the host and the team. Hence, our impact was really minimalistic. Moreover, although discussed with the host, we couldn't participate in the permaculture course, which was disappointing. But the host fulfilled our expectations in terms of food and accommodation.

Essa foi a minha primeira experiência com a worldpackers e tive o prazer de ser recebido na pousada agrecologica o projeto. O local preza pela sustentabilidade e é muito bonito e charmoso. O chalé é confortável e as refeições uma delícia. Realizei os trabalhos da fazenda, ajudando os colaboradores nos serviços diários. Os funcionários me receberam muito bem, o Marcos, Alexandre, José, Luiz, Tati e Talita, e o Felipe que fica na recepção. A pousada fica próximo ao Parque das Cataratas e um pouco distante da cidade, mas tem um ônibus que passa na frente o 120, que leva e trás da cidade.

El lugar es maravilloso, lleno de naturaleza , con excelentes instalaciones y a 10 min caminando de las cataratas. La comida es muy buena. Hay que proveerse porque la ciudad está a unos kilómetros y solo se puede llegar en autobús. Recomiendo este lugar para quienes deseen descansar y desconectarse. Guilherme, el anfitrión, fue respetuoso y amable las pocas veces que lo vimos.
