This was my first time staying and volunteering at a hostel and It was a really nice experience. The staff is very welcoming, they really make sure you feel safe and comfortable. Its the perfection location! Near many bars, restaurants and stores!

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel! It was my first work exchange and it taught me a lot of useful tips and tricks I will use going forward. San Diego is a beautiful city and I recommend everyone see this city at least once.

This place is in a great location for downtown SD. Management was nice and very accommodating. I met so many good people. Parking is a bit hard but other than that a great place to be.

I had a great experience working at the hostel. The duties are easy and the supervisors help you out all the time. They make you feel at home and help you to get the hang of things from they one. The volunteers there are also a great. People in hostels come and go naturally, so it is important to connect with the volunteers to have work and, of course, have a good time; I had all of that since the beginning , it was great.

Nancy and the rest of the team at the hostel are really hearty and friendly. Always smiling, your stay is surrounded by positive people. You get a really good training for the work you have to do there and you even take pleasure at doing it. San Diego is also an amazing city. Definitely recommend!!

I don't know were to start, my experience was so amazing, i have make new friends, staffs and guests, meet new places, lived awesome experiences. I recommend stay as a volunteer in this Hostel. The people are amazing.

If your plan is to dig the city, make friends and become part of a team, then this is your place. The staff will welcome you and make you feel comfty right away. As regards the tasks, just pay attention and do as indicated. They are simple tasks that get even easier as time passes by! Be patient and listen carefully. Although the building is a bit old, it is well maintained, and it has all the basic things you will need. The host, Nancy, tends to share food and fun events with the staff, which makes the experience more interesting and amiable. I absolutely recommend this place. :)

San Diego is a wonderful city and the hostel is well located, so it's very convenient... The environment of the hostel is amazing and the people who I've met here are awesome... Definitely, a very good experience to improve your language skills... The shifts are flexible if you plan ahead of time... And the work its fair! I'm so grateful for having such an amazing experience at the hostel.
