The experience I had at the hostel was incredible and really surprised me! Without a doubt one of the best so far, I loved getting to know Lisbon, the city is beautiful and gave me memorable experiences! Jen is a wonderful host and is always willing to help, as is everyone else there! I'll be back soon, for sure!

This was my first ever volunteer experience and it was amazing. Jen, the manager, is a great team leader and will make you feel like part of the group and protected at all times. The hours might be a bit more than other offers but it is so so so worth it. I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity.

I had a great time here! One of the cleanest hostels I have ever stayed at. The work went smoothly and chill. Besides, working as a volunteer here also allowed me to practice English and Spanish. I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and, between guests, staff and other volunteers, I made friends for life. From my first day, everyone was so kind to me and made me feel like I was at home. Jen, the manager, is a lovely person. Super generous, she even invited me to come back next year. Thank you so much, guys! For everything!!! I already miss you all! Hope to see you soon!

Great experience, welcoming people that makes you feel at home. Jen is incredibly sweet and concerned about how much the volunteers are enjoying their staying. Pizzas are super amazing! You can still explore the city even with the 8 hours shifts, that are usually really chill, but sometimes get's a bit busy. The only thing I suggest is a lock at the volunteers wardrobe.

Avennue was a great positive surprise, everyone who works at the hostel gives you as much help and attention as possible. A well-organized and clean hostel, good accommodation and private bathrooms for volunteers make a difference. They serve pizza every night on the menu and it's very good, made by Matheus and Goupi. The manager Jen is very attentive and gives you all the attention you need, always leaving the environment very good for us to develop our work. I connected with many people, learned and developed many skills and new tasks, I highly recommend this experience. thank you all
