The Exchange

Training Peruvian horses and help with the administration of the stables of the owner. Feeding, cleaning and veterinarian treatment of the horses are more tasks that are awaiting you. Please note that the stables are located in the surroundings of Huancayo!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops and care for animals.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Program Details

Peru has got its own very special horse race: El Paso Peruano. Being known for its kind of funny way of walking it is unique in this world and its sold to many different places around the planet. Therefore there is a lot of people working with that horses as well as breading them.
Help with the stable administration of one horse owner and train his horses. If necessary you can also help with feeding and veterinarian treatment.


We ask for a additional monetary contribution to the worldpacker reservation fee for your expenses such as Wi-Fi, electricity, laundry, food and gas of $130 USD or 450 Soles per week in a shared bedroom. Pleas note that you also have to pay your daily transport to the stables.
