It is an amazing location with beautiful View to a cachoeira at the Das contes river and in the back wild forest and patically wild cacaofields. And also the team of volunteers was really good matching I will miss them. Only thing to improve is to organize long-term plans of the particular volunteers stay. Thus I could accomplish my self more to make the dream of growing totally the own food come true. But all in all I can recommend it!!

Important: In the state of Bahia there are THREE Agua Frìa. You gotta go to the one close to Itacarè, in the SOUTH of Bahia! We didn't know it and we went to the wrong one. Better communication would be necessary! My time at the Pousada was anyways really good, I extended my stay 10 days longer than expected. I love the location, it is in a quiet village the landscape is fantastic and since it is close to Itacarè you can easily reach the beaches. Fernando is cool & easy going but he needs to improve the organization: daily tasks, directions etc. Volunteers need instruction to work!

O eco lodge foi minha primeira experiência na bahia e nao poderia ter escolhido um lugar melhor. Na fazenda pude imergir na cultura local, participando e entendendo desde a colheita do cacau ate os ultimos processos ate o nosso querido chocolate. Fazer amizade com os moradores foi a melhor decisão. O Fernando se transformou em um verdadeiro brother aqui na bahia, so tenho elogios pra ele. Experiência fantástica.

Estar no eco lodge foi muito bom pra descansar a cabeça e estar em paz no meio da natureza. Fiz a parte de mídias sociais e ainda ajudei com outros trabalhos de limpeza e manutenção do local, além disso tive contato com o cacau e pude acompanhar um pouco de como funciona a fazenda. Sou grata a todas as pessoas da comunidade que sempre se mostraram solicitas e tinham um carinho por nós. Fernando é um cara muito gente boa, tranquilo e foi sempre muito preocupado com nosso bem-estar. Sentirei saudades dos banhos no rio, o pôr do sol do balanço e os bons momentos que vivi!
