Program Details

Very simple: we're looking for you to help us improve our staff's English skills. For now we're focusing on our managers. Later we'll expand to focus on the rest of our team. As a hostel that believes in 100% local employees with a living wage, we really need your help to transfer this skill to our wonderful staff.

Activities & Shift

There are two shifts per day, 1 hour and a half each. These can be in the morning or in the evening depending on how busy the hostel is in a given time. During each shift, you'll teach one-on-one with one of our team in conversational English skills necessary in a hospitality environment.

Please remember that we are located in a rural village with conservative beliefs. When you are living with our team, you're also representing our image which over the years -- through a lot of hard work -- has become extremely positive in Honduras.

-Drugs are strictly prohibited
-You're welcome to consume alcohol, but please be responsible and again remember that you are representing our place. All volunteers receive a 25% discount on our drinks. Please note we do not allow outside alcoholic drinks. You are welcome to consume alcohol off-site, but again -- the keyword is responsible.
-Be respectful of other guests and respect our quiet hours.
-Be respectful of our team members.
-Romantic relations with our staff is strictly prohibited.
-You'll eat great meals for free -- please me sure to help clean up after yourself.
-Keep your room in a condition for our staff to clean.
