Everyone really made me feel at home, and I had so much opportunity to improve my Portuguese and Spanish every day - the vast majority of guests and team being Brazilian. The hostel itself was smaller and relaxed which was just what I wanted, the work was easygoing too. I would really recommend this hostel and this experience for anyone wanting something more relaxed, where you can meet people on a deeper level, improve your language skills and be a little further out of the way of the louder/ busier centre of Rio. The whole team is really lovely and welcoming, I really felt at home!

Becca was an amazing person, with an energy that was contagious, flexible, polite, always willing to help, she helped us in the bar and the restaurant of the hostel, she was always willing to help us and she never missed a smile, very friendly. We recommend her 100 percent. Wherever you go and wherever you are, please don't change.

I enjoyed the hostel up a lot! i met a lot of locals from the restaurant & tried a lot of brasil food. the team is nice & you grew fast to a family. its a good & safe place for the first time in rio, near to a shopping mall & a metrostation. valeu

It was a fun place , not by the beach but well connected and had a mall close by , cheap food by the corner and it was easy to move to the center and the beach ,
