The experience

Are you the ultimate traveler who knows what makes a hostel experience great? We are looking for fun and out-going travelers who are social, responsible and independent workers for the position of Night Receptionist!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

What you get

3 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Portuguese

Between 20 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You are the night owl! Out-going and social, while caring and conscious. You care for the hostel in the evenings, opening the door for your fellow travelers and maintaining a safe environment for all. You're also the go to person for buying beers (so everyone loves you)! In the mornings, you help by preparing breakfast, and keeping the house clean and orderly. Your friends are depending on you for a great experience so you know the few days you work are important!
