I applied to help with marketing (photography, social media etc.). Firstly, unfortunatly, when I arrived, they told me that they didn't need it at this time, so I was assigned to help in the kitchen and in the garden. Secondly, when they bring me to the dormitory, all the rooms for mens was smelling the humidity really strong and it was disgusting to think about to sleep there. I was lucky to and my camping stuff! Thirdly, the food...They served vegan food but not enough complete to be healthy. The only proteins that I ate there was beans but I ate that only one time in 3 days.

Very welcoming community, it made me feel like home. It's a very good place to meditate, because besides the yoga classes, all the tasks are very meditative. The place is beautiful. I would say one week is enough to have a full experience there.

Prema was allways attentious to our needs. I had a really nice time in Varsana Eco Village, the Hare Krishna culture there is very intetesting and the people very welcoming! The food is also great, every meal I took was different, and vegetarian with organic products everytime. If you have the opportunity I cannot recommend enough the Temazcal experiencie on sundays, it was one of the highlights for me! Thank you for everything :)

I think Varsana has the potential to be a special place, however in order to do so they need to improve some things.
First it's important to mention they're a Krishna community, which isn't mentioned in their description. This can be a shock if you're not familiar with the culture, but, they're welcoming and you're invited to learn as much as you want.
While I really liked the eco farm, I had originally applied to work on marketing and I was not given any instructions or resources to work on this.
I got ill and didn't receive any care from them which I think is not acceptable.
