The experience

Join our Team at International Travelers House as we create more hostels in the world. We have 9 hostels in California and Mexico. Your role will be to lead our web design efforts. We have various web projects going on and you will be able to learn a variety of web design strategies.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Web Developer: Help develop and maintain websites.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.


Fluent English

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

Join our Team of passionate entrepreneurs as we grow the hostel industry to more travelers. We are looking to build 50 hostels by the year 2030. You will be helping on projects along the roadmap to ensure we spread brand awareness.

Activities & Shift

To understand how our Hostel works, we require you to help with 12 hours of operations at the Hostel (Reception and Housekeeping). This will connect you to our Team and give you a better understanding of how we host guests so you can be a better marketer.

Your 12 hours of operations will rotate weekly based on the Schedule at the Hostel. Shifts are either 4 or 6 hours long.

Your Web Design hours are 12 hours per week and based on weekly projects.

We have a weekly team meeting on Mondays and a weekly Marketing meeting on Thursdays.

Traveling between hostels may be required.


Housing: For this role, you will stay at ITH CoLive Balboa Park Hostel.
