Karen and I moved to France from the UK about 18 months ago along with our 3 dogs and 10 horses into a property that had been empty for 4 years. We opened our small gite this year but have spent a lot of time preparing the paddocks for the horses, plus making the outside client friendly. We still have some landscaping to do, plus construct an arena for the horses but the main help is the decorating of our 5 bedroom gite, so we can open in 2023.

Karen and Ritchie were super friendly from the first moment, always willing to help us with what we needed! Your farm is a beautiful place to enjoy nature and animals. They were luxury hosts, we were very happy that our first volunteering was with them. They are excellent people who work hard all day, our tasks were very varied every day, always accompanied by them. We shared very good dinners and talks. We went for two weeks and stayed for three weeks, it was a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for making us feel at home :)

For my first WorldPackers experience, the farm was perfect! Richie & Karen were delightful hosts; they were accommodating, beginning with Ritchie's warm welcome at the Auch station, and Karen providing her tasty dinners nightly. All the tasks and duties aligned with expectations. Our hosts gave a reasonable amount of work to chip away at, while allowing the perfect level of autonomy to complete the tasks at our own, comfortable pace. There was ample time leftover to enjoy the town & farm life (Richie & Karen even hosted us at local events) when we weren't working. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Our experience at the farm was wonderful and we highly recommend it. Ritchie greeted us warmly at the station in Auch and the hospitality extended from he and Karen only grew from there. We arrived as strangers and left as friends and their personalities added more to the experience than we could have imagined. The property is beautiful, the lodging is comfortable and charming, and their animals sweet and fun. Our hosts also coordinated for us to attend local events and get a bit of cultural immersion. The work matched our expectations and was rewarding. Hope to return soon!

We stayed at the beautiful the farm for about 6 weeks and we had a wonderful stay there. Karen and Ritchie made us feel really at home, and we loved our gîte. Everyday was different at the farm we loved the interaction with al the lovely animals and al the different jobs everyday. After every hard day of working there was a great meal cooked for us, and we had a great chat with Karen and Richie, they made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this stay if you wanna enjoy beautiful south of France and some great mountain views.
