The Exchange

1. Plan and prepare the farm layout and decide on crops to plant. 2. Organize the materials and farm inputs required to establish a functional farm. 3. Oversee and participate in planting/transplanting, care of the crops (pest management & control), irrigation schedule and general crop maintenance. 4. Oversee the harvesting and post-harvest processing and any value addition to the harvest produce. 5. Draw up a marketing strategy for the farm


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.


What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Program Details

6. Design a project sustainability plan for the project farm and induct local youth and women to manage it on exit.
