I had a really Brilliant time on this farm😊. Linda and Osh are really extraordinary people. They are both very kind, caring and generous, I really look up to them. The Farm is located in a perfect spot. You can walk about half an hour to get to a bus stop that you can go into Hilo with or visit the volcanos 🌋, also there is a really tasty cafe near the bus stop to 😁. The hours are respected and fair. I did Lots of renovating to do with the barn apartment during my stay which was a really great project to work on. Tiger Lily (aka Chonk) was a really nice cat and a pleasure to take care of🐈.

This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't be happier! I had a wonderful experience on this farm, they truly made me feel like apart of their family. The work hours were very respected. I learned so much in the three weeks I was there about the islands history and organic farming. I had ample opportunity to explore Hilo and go to the beach. Just be mindful that the closest bus stop is a 35 minute walk and only comes by a few times a day but they offered me a ride to the beach or Hilo often. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys being immersed in nature!

My Worldpackers experience at Linda's farm was truly transformative. The serene countryside setting provided a perfect backdrop for personal growth. Linda and her family were warm hosts, offering a genuine cultural exchange. Daily tasks varied from tending to animals to sustainable farming practices, enriching my skills and understanding of eco-friendly living. Linda's generosity extended beyond hosting, leaving an indelible mark on my heart and making the farm feel like a home away from home. Thank you so much !!

We had a great experience at the farm! Linda was such a pleasure to be around and was very knowledgable about everything on the farm that we were working with. Our tasks varied daily and we were always happy to take on new projects that the farm needed. We felt very gratified with the work we were able to accomplish during our stay. Harvesting our own fruits and vegetables, enjoying our time with the animals and pets in the barn, and experiencing peace and quiet surrounded by nature and the beautiful Hawaiian landscape were the highlights of the stay. We would highly recommend! Mahalo!
