The Experience
Here at our hostel in Firenze, being spontaneous is our favourite activity! We want you to be the razzle dazzle of the hostel! You’ll be in charge of events, being sure guests are having a good time and are getting their drinks! Become a member of the bar staff, and most importantly, it would make our day to see you hanging out with the guests and making their trip here even more memorable. Welcome home new worldpacker!

I had a wonderful time at OB! All the events are a lot of fun and the environment is super friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the staff was nice and ready to help at any time. I loved the energy of the people I worked with and they made my experience truly unforgettable <3 The tasks were not difficult, but definitely helped me to develop my communication skills and made me step out of my comfort zone. If you want to find friends from all over the world, have fun in the middle of a beautiful city, and learn something new about yourself at the same time, this place is the right one for you!

Writing this review while trying not to cry :( It will be not enough words to describe atmosphere of this place. Every day is filled with smiles and warm hugs, heartfelt and genuine connections, and a staff I can wholeheartedly and sincerely call my friends. It's a home away from home that gives you the chance to fully be yourself. The tasks of a volunteer don't feel like “work” or forced responsibilities at all – every day feels like an unforgettable event spent in the company of close friends! Love, love, love ❤️

Volunteering in the hostel was super fun!! The staff receives you really well and you can definitely have so much fun with them and the guests!! They have free food in a really nice kitchen, the tasks are basically help at the events on the bar and have fun and create a good experience with the guests. Franci was the volunteers manager and I loved her. She is special and makes you feel home at the same time that teaches you how to do everything. Thanks for all the staff, guests and volunteers I met at the hostel, I will definitely go back!

Ostellino, simply thank you for the opportunity, for the memories, and for all the love I felt. Thanks for this month, which flew by but was full of stories. This has been one of the best volunteering experiences I've had because you were a home, a family, and at the same time, a space where we could create, play, and just be ourselves. Thanks for letting us be and for letting us have fun. I'm really gonna miss the life we created during that time. Semplicemente grazie mille, vi voglio tanto bene <3 ps: attenti ai cani, forse tornano :)

The most intensive month ever! It's my second time volunteering at the hostel, and both were super differents but amazing. the hostel is a magical city and full of incredible travellers who come from all over the world; i started living like a local, experienced the art, the streets, the food and the most important i conected with the staff like if we were a family, i never feel so comfortable and free in my life like in the hostel. I can't wait to return another time and for more time (magari per vivere......) "Il cuore sempre pieno rimane". Grazie mille ragazzi <3
