The owners at the guest house are the absolute best people ever. They run a great hostel and are very friendly. I wish I could have stayed longer.

My first Worldpackers experience was fantastic, it exceeded my expectations by far. I learned a lot and left there with a full heart. Eduardo and Iraya are kind people, they treat you like family. I was there during the low season and despite some busier days, I had lot of time to explore the peaceful village of Agaete, hike the trails around, and relax by the sea. The house is beautiful, you can really feel the tranquility and family atmosphere.

My time at the guest house was amazing. The work was easy and the hours were as agreed. The hosts were available and easy to talk to if there were any issues. Agaete is a beautiful quiet town. I met many locals and know I will be welcomed back.

The experience at the guest house was constructive both for me and for the owners. Having been the first volunteer along with another girl, I think I can say that we helped lay the groundwork. I felt welcomed right away by Iraya and Eduardo and I created a beautiful relationship with people I met while staying there. 😊 🙏🏻✨❤

The guest house opened the same week I arrived. It was a learning experience for all of us but I trust the experience will improve with time. I shared a nice room with another volunteer in the house and lived with the other guests in a quiet town near great hiking trails. One of the hosts does not speak English which at times was a challenge for me. The work has irregular hours, split shifts, and inconsistent days off. They often assign tasks to do outside of your scheduled hours and schedule more than 5 days work per week. Overall, not a bad experience but required more work than I expected.
