Learning & Fun

I had a really great time at Yim! Everyone is super nice, the place is very beautiful and the work was lots of fun. The hostel is so comfortable, modern, colourful and it makes easy to be social with guests. The work was not hard at all (except for fully booked weekends on breakfast hour!hehehe), the staff has a lot of patience teaching you how to prepare everything and it is very cool to learn a little bit about coffee.
But the Yim family is what makes this place so amazing

Yim Hostel was awesome. Its a really nice place with super friendly staff and owners. The work hours and days are really relaxed, maybe even a little too much. I would have loved more to do, to learn and to take responsibility for. But of course I cannot complain! The only downside for me was that most guests were Thai or Chinese and it was not really possible for me to interact with them due to language difficulties. But with the western guests I always had a lot of fun and especially with the other awesome volunteers and the YIM family! Thanks so much for an awesome time!

I stayed for 1 month at Yim Huai Khwang and it was awesome!! The first week we cooked dinner together, I made something from my country and I learned some Thai dishes, it was a nice exchange!!! The hostel is very comfortable and beautiful, they really know how to take care of it! During my stay it wasn’t very busy so I could talk a lot with Tem and the staff and get to know more about the culture, we had a great time!!! The staff is very friendly and and they teach you everything that you need. I’ve made good friends there! I totally recommend! 😜

Yim hostel was absolutely the best. The location is not touristy, which I loved. The hostel is aesthetically very attractive and the lobby that also works as a coffee shop is a very friendly place. The tasks involve making coffee, helping with the kitchen and reception, which really doesn't feel like "work", you would rather enjoy it. The working hours are very flexible and having 3 days off per week is a great deal. Tem, Bee, May and the staff were just like family. Like, really. They would genuinely consider you and help you with anything. Take this opportunity. You will love it.
