Help in our hostel in Mendoza

The experience

We are a youth hostel located in Mendoza near the center. I run the hostel with my girlfriend and my friend There are many activities and places to offer, as well as the region itself like trekking, rafting, hot springs, wineries to visit. The concept of the hostel is to create an atmosphere to make everyone feel at home away from home, making new friends and good connection, creating spaces meet new people and share different experiences.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent Spanish

Between 20 and 40 years old

Be from outside Argentina

Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers will meet people from all over the world as well as a lot of local, so they can discover the culture and way of life. It is as well a good opportunity to practice and improve their Spanish or other foreign language.
You will be able to learn more about management of a hostel, with the different sides of it : reception, selling tours, welcome people.

We offer a bed in an exclusive dorm for the volunteers, the access to the Wi-Fi and the services from the hostel (TV, laundry, and a lot of wine ;) etc.).
For the meals, we offer the breakfast and we provide some non perishable products to cook like rice, pasta, oil, and as well vegetables and fruits. Also we have dinners that we are sharing with the guest and of course its free for our volunteers.

Activities & Shift

The help we need is quite simple :
Help us work at reception with the check ins/ check outs, giving guests all the information needed, always having a smile on your face :), cleaning of rooms, common areas and bathrooms. Work in the evening for talk with the people, give them wine and make them feel at home. We really need people with good vibes, dynamic, that can take people out to hang out as well.
