The Exchange

Work, learn, enjoy, share good time with the owners - a male couple - and our guests in our guest house that looks like a friends' house, located 11 kms far from the center. The help we need is gardening, cleaning, doing the dishes, looking after our pets (dogs and cats), sometimes serving the guests and once-in-a-while with small constructions. During the free days, visit the beautifull surrounds like beaches, waterfalls, the old center etc.

Program Details

We would like to have volunteers who are pro-active, friendly, open midded, flexible, really interested in work and learn new skills and who likes to be in the middle of nature.
We offer good food, housing and share our knowledge and skills.
The owners can speak portuguese, english, dutch, german and spanish. So, we expect the volunteers can speak well at least one of this languages.

Activities & Shift

Our proposal is: for each work day (8 hs) the volunteers can have one free day. In other words, they will work 3,5 days and have 3,5 free days, in average per week.
Even in the free days, they can eat here, but they have to cook and do the dishes. We provide the food.

We are searching for one single man or two men or a man and a woman as volunteers who will be honestly involved in the fair exchange of work by house and food.
