The Experience

We are a fun relaxed/party hostel. Right in the center of Beer Street and old town, so many coffee shops, bars, nightlife and street food surrounding us, its hard to leave here with immersing yourself in Hanoi. Come work in the best and craziest city in Hanoi. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, artsy person that can paint murals in our bar area.

Truly one of the greatest experiences I have had travelling! This hostel is such a big family and I immediately felt so welcomed. The reception hours are as agreed and you are able to take trips to other places on your days off like ha giang loop and sapa. The manager Ruby is amazing and is super accomodating with changing shifts. I loved being able to work with other volunteers and Vietnamese staff on reception. You are able to meet so many other travellers. Could not recommended this work exchange more! Have made the most incredible friends for life!

The hostel and the hostel is best place to stay in the hostel! You will feel here like home, the staff really welcoming and nice, always ready to help you. Good location in the centre of Old quarter, delicious breakfast and there is also discounts for tours for volunteers. Overall, it's a perfect place if you want to meet a lot people from all over the world and have fun in the hostel!

Let me tell you something, this is probably the best place to volunteer in Vietnam. Location is close to clubs and touristy areas. Great perks and warm hosts. Sam and Michael were kind and the manager ruby can also be nice and sometimes funny. Met lots of phenomenal people and immersed in local the hostel culture. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely time volunteering here! It was very organized and there was a lot of flexibility around scheduling. The staff and volunteers are truly wonderful people! As a reception volunteer, I was working with some Vietnamese staff, which gave me more insight into Vietnamese culture :) & I can't leave out the most valuable staff members, Candy and Alfie (little dogs that rule the lobby). I also loved having the opportunity to spend more time in the hostel. It's also close enough to other towns in northern Vietnam that you can do quick 2-3 day trips really easily. Highly recommend :)
