The Exchange

You will be a valued member of our hostel team and be given guidance and training to carry out all the duties you will be involved with. We have strong team ethics and will always ensure that you will be given a full introduction to your volunteer role!


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs.

Kitchen Hand: Help serving and organizing meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Exchange and wash bed linens. Make the beds.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Program Details

These opportunities are suitable for people who are reliable and able to communicate in English and Spanish at intermediate level. You must also be capable of carrying out the different tasks involved.


Activities & Shift

You will be supporting us in a variety of tasks including housekeeping (Change bed linens), cleaning (Help the bar for breakfast, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas) as well as some general maintenance including decorating and ground keeping. It is important that you are flexible and open-minded to perform the tasks involved with volunteering within a Hostel environment.


Rules

Accommodation and food allowances are available while you are volunteering. We provide Accommodation in a shared room, Breakfast and Lunch for free and all hostel facilities (WIFI, cold/hot water and kitchen) are available as well. (But please be aware that flights, travel Insurance, internal transportation and visa are not included)
