It was my first Worldpackers experience, and I highly recommend it. There I could work with housekeeping, cleaning and my favorite: gardening. It is a huge property, so I did a lot of different things during my three weeks. Also, it is a good place if you are wondering to stay in touch with nature. the lodge Sonnemeer is located ery close to the sea, and it is extremely calm, I loved it. Thank you, Hans and Ulrich, for having me there 🤗

I don't have enough words to say thanks to Ulrike and Hans for having us, our time there was incredible! I will miss the entire place but especially the chats with them and the absolutely delicious food cooked by Ulrike.

I highly recommend this place, every day you want to freeze time so that the experience does not end. You can learn many new things and also have enough time to get to know the village and other surrounding towns. Ulrike and Hans are very welcoming and the accommodation is beautiful and the food is so delicious.

I have really enjoyed my time at the lodge, the hosts Ulrike and Hans are so friendly and welcoming. They provided a really nice place to stay, we're flexible with hours and really helped me with my german (because I wanted to learn more) but they also speak amazing English. The area was so nice, and you can get to the sea or lakes within 10-20 minutes on the bikes provided.

For many reasons this was the best experience I've had so far, my only regret is having been there for a short time. Ulrike and Hans are very loving people, I loved every day I was there. I 100% recommend this experience and I would love to return. I had a deep connection with nature, it is a quite calm and wonderful place. I only have to thank😍

Minha experiência foi excelente, marcante e inesquecível. O casal me propiciou um quarto limpo, arejado e grande. Ulrike preparou deliciosas refeições, me forneceu agasalho e me informou sobre lugares lindos para passear. Hans sempre me informou do horário para parar, não me permitiu fazer trabalho perigoso e disponibilizou bicicletas. Sou muito grato também por depois ficar em uma casa com TV por assinatura, comida vegana e tomar umas cervejas germânicas.

Angefangen bei den Gastgebern, Ulrike und Hans sind erstaunliche Menschen, nett, freundlich, fürsorglich und gut gelaunt. Außer ihnen hatte ich die Gelegenheit, weitere Familienmitglieder kennen zu lernen. Alle waren sehr gastfreundlich. Die Unterkunft auf dem the lodge ist fantastisch, komfortabel, angenehm und sehr geschmackvoll. Auch das Essen hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Dienstleistungen waren vielfältig und nach Bedarf organisiert. Die Zeiten und Tage waren flexibel und wurden wie angekündigt eingehalten. Ich habe sogar ein besonderes Geburtstagsfrühstück gewonnen. Vielen Dank!

Pontos negativos: Infelizmente na nossa aplicação, não constavam algumas informações que agora constam no anúncio. Houve uma tentativa de entendimento com a anfitriã ( quando respeitosamente questionamos que o oferecido era diferente ao prometido no anúncio) e ela se sentiu desconfortável com isso, tomando atitudes inesperadas, sendo uma delas, pedir para que fôssemos embora! Pontos positivos: Talvez a revisão nas informações de seu anúncio, sejam válidas à futuros colegas voluntarios !

After your first review was rightly deleted, we now have 2 reviews with the same sender and the same text. A topsy-turvy world. Here again is our correction: You gave false information about your language skills in your profile in order to be able to apply to us. Our entry requirements clearly state that we require intermediate language skills in German or English. One day before your arrival, you informed us that you had lied to us about your language skills. Based on that revelation we told you that it would be better not to come to us. Since you did not let up, we then decided out of compassion that we would try with you anyway, with the note that if it didn't work out, you would have to find another solution (host) for you. The information on our part in our advertisement that we offer Breakfast and Lunch on weekdays, not on weekends, was on the Worldpacker platform under Official Agreement before your application. You simply did not read it. Since you said you had no money, we gave you € 100.00 for food at the weekend. As you tried to influence other volunteers negatively, we decided together with the team that it would be better if you leave. We gave you a few days to do so. Now we are very much convinced that we made the right decision for our team and for us.
