I recently had the pleasure of volunteering at Gerti's hostel, and it was hands down the best worldpackers experience I've had. Gerti is incredibly lovely and accommodating, making you feel right at home. The work is easy and manageable, leaving you plenty of downtime to explore the city and enjoy the beach. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to volunteer!

After a not great experience at another hostel this was a breath of fresh air. The hours specified are accurate and you can change your shifts with others. I spent most of my time topping up the breakfast bar and chatting to the guests. Gurti is super helpful and aided us volunteers in anything we needed. Ended up staying a hotel room as accommodation which was sweet after many many hostels. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience volunteering in Vlora! Gerti is a great host, he was incredibly helpful and took great care of us throughout our stay. I shared a comfortable hotel room with another volunteer. The work was simple and straightforward, and the host was very flexible with our schedule, allowing us plenty of time to explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a great volunteer experience in Albania!

My first Worldpackers experience couldn't have been better. Gerti is incredibly generous, helpful, kind and welcoming. And the staff is just as lovely. I had the chance to meet amazing fellow volunteers during my time there. The work during the breakfast shift was easy and I had the rest of the day free to relax. I often spent my afternoons at the nearby beach, which was just a short walk from the hotel. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!! It was the perfect experience for chilling out and I can't recommend it enough!!!! Thank you Gerti!
