Lodging cost is $20.00 per day (includes 3 meals with natural fruit drinks, tea and coffee every day, wifi and access to the pool) Transportation to/from the airport or Panama City is $150.00 each way.

The Experience

Mamoní Valley Preserve (MVP) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled journalist intern to join our team. As a journalism intern, you will be responsible for conducting research, writing articles, and producing multimedia content to promote the organization's mission and activities. You will work closely with the Communications Manager to develop and execute communication strategies that will help raise awareness of the organization's impact.

  • Over 21 years old
  • Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

Volunteering at the organization was a great experience. It is an amazing place - you are surrounded by nature and animals. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and welcoming. I learned a lot about MVP's work and sustainability in general.
