Learning & Fun

The experience was great, it has some problems like the accommodations are not in the hostel but in other house, without WiFi and no good beds. The lunch is also not good, most of times we did our own meal, but the breakfast and the dinner are good!
The team is very nice and also Luca and Ulia (very great people), but I had the feeling of not be welcome by the menager, she almost didn't talk to me and other volunteers, and treat us quite different from other people.
I recommend, the hostel is awesome, we learned a lot of Italian culture. If they improve this things, would be a perfect place!

Volunteers are treated as cheap labor, especially volunteers of Latin origin, "everyone is expandable" according to the rules. They pressure us to participate in hostel activities even when we are not working. Suggestions aren't heard.

In the volunteer rooms (not the same of the photos), there is no wifi, the beds are old and not good, no showers and the rooms are not properly cleaned, there are cobwebs and other animals at the rooms.

The food is nutritionally poor and there is no fresh, especially for vegetarian people, as they offer to us only a few options. There is no free laundry.

great! From the first day you are at home, a totally friendly environment where having a good time is coupled with the work that is easy, I recommend it with closed eyes.

This place was very disappointing to me.
The "house" of the worldpackers is 30 meters from the hostel:
Extremely old, abandoned and dirty. Full of moisture. The showers don't work, you don't have internet, the mattresses are old and they make your whole body ache. The beds make a tremendous noise. It is full of scorpions, spiders, mosquitoes and rats. This place must be fumigated. The food they offer is bad and very scarce. It is outrageous! they can not have volunteers living in that pathetic, enslaver and miserable state. You can write to my profile and I can send you photos of the place.

It was neat, met many people from several countries, specially Brasil, I think I gained some weight because of the food hehe, sure there were funny moments for sure! A new environment which is about having your own space even though there may be peers, no strain man just go with the flow!
Thanks Lucas and Ulia ;)
