Host very welcoming to me. Working hours respected and great food three meals a day, never needed to buy anything extra. Lovely nature with tourist attractions nearby. Lots of other friendly travellers. All conversation in Spanish so good if you want to be immersed in the language.

I had my first experience volunteering at Finca Guanani, working with the animals and gardening. My overall experience was very good and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. The experience was off to a rocky start as the address on WP was not correct which led me on an 8 hour detour. This was a simple mistake and I think it has been fixed but I definitely recommend giving them a call and making sure before you go. Dario and Sandra and their employees were very nice and welcoming and we got along very well. I greatly improved my Spanish here.

En general la experiencia fue buena. Aplicamos a la granja, sin embargo no estaba en funcionamiento por la temporada y se adaptó la estadía a Güananí con otras actividades. El espacio es grande así que siempre hay cosas por hacer pero los horarios son claros y respetados. Disfrutamos nuestra estadía definitivamente.

Muy buen voluntariado! Disfruté mucho mi estadía en Guanani. Las instalaciones son increíbles. El entorno de naturaleza es muy lindo. La carga horaria se respetó bien y los anfitriones son muy flexibles al respecto. La comida es excelente! Compartiendo con Darío, Sandra y el resto del personal, pude conocer y conectar con la cultura local. Es una experiencia recomendable.
