Host very welcoming to me. Working hours respected and great food three meals a day, never needed to buy anything extra. Lovely nature with tourist attractions nearby. Lots of other friendly travellers. All conversation in Spanish so good if you want to be immersed in the language.

I had my first experience volunteering at Finca Guanani, working with the animals and gardening. My overall experience was very good and I would recommend it to anyone considering it. The experience was off to a rocky start as the address on WP was not correct which led me on an 8 hour detour. This was a simple mistake and I think it has been fixed but I definitely recommend giving them a call and making sure before you go. Dario and Sandra and their employees were very nice and welcoming and we got along very well. I greatly improved my Spanish here.

La combinación de la comida, el lugar y las personas hizo que todo fuera inolvidable. ¿Han escuchado que las sonrisas traen buena suerte? Pues aquí tendrán mucha, porque Sandra y Darío y todos los presentes son personas excepcionales que definitivamente vale la pena conocer.

Durante mi estadía, pude realizar diversas tareas para las que ya había aplicado previamente, lo que me permitió aprender y contribuir de manera significativa. Desde que llegué Sandra y Dario me hicieron sentir como en casa. Tuve la oportunidad de colaborar con ellos durante dos semanas, y cada día fue diferente, las horas de trabajo respetadas. Las instalaciones de Guanani son increíbles, el tiempo se va volando. Me encantó que tuve la oportunidad de conocer a más voluntarios y de crear vínculos . Espero poder regresar pronto, un abrazo gigante a todos!!! Gracias!!
