The experience

Thank you for your interest in joining us at camp this summer! We're a non-profit summer camp in the Appalachian Mountains, a mountain range in the eastern part of the U.S. Our mission is to have comparatively low prices so that all kids can come and enjoy summer camp.
Your responsibilities would mainly consist of drafting, shooting, and editing a video about our camp/campers and posting it to our YouTube.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

United States Visa

Program Details

Room and board is included. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own equipment, but necessary equipment will be provided to you nonetheless.

Activities & Shift

This is a very flexible position with no set daily schedule. There is also a lot of creative freedom in what you want the video to be about and the entire process. At the beginning of the week you will draft a video concept and plan the shooting. Throughout the week you'll shoot it, and toward the end of the session you will edit the video and post it to our YouTube. That's it!
