Mrs Luisa makes good food🍜🍝🍛👩🍳 and enough to feel satisfied, maybe needs to include more veggies🥑🥕🥒. She also knows how to sing feeling the song, like the llaneros do! Soraya and her husband knows a lot about handyman, gardening, cooking, and so on; listen her advise and enjoy her group ideas, like cook together a good hamburger 🍔😋🥤. Miss Lulú is so funny, she has an strong personality, give her ideas and she'll probably help make them happen. If you like soccer, canopy and extreme experiences⚽ ask Gustavo, he's like the old fashioned farmers🐄🤠 but with a lil bit of youthfulness.

I definitely DONT recommend to any tra veler to voluntary in the lodge. Why? Hello! I would like to inform you that i am terminating my voluntary stay in Calima Ecolodge after two days of hard work. Because: 1. They dont respect agreed terms and try to change and make you work MUCH more 2. work is hard / heavy weights. 3. Food is very low quality (bananas & rice) 4. Host registered on WP platform is not on place for months and place's run by Venezuelan kids 5. They have nothing Eco. Not even separate garbage and have pets tied all day. 6. Dorm provided is softly saying unacceptable!

Great place for hiking, you get an awesome view over the lake area. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the dogs are just adorable. But when the hostel was full we exceeded our working hours quite a bit.

It was a nice experience, people who work there they are so kind. At the very beginning I was worried (it was my first time using Worldpackers) about the time answer because I was in Cali and they just read my messages and they didn't answer. For the arriving would be easier if they send what to do from Darien (just an advise). The place has amazing views and fierce mosquitoes, there are many activities to help with, you just have to be open minded and do what you're good at. I did amazing pictures and some videos. It really was good experience. The natural pool is gorgeous.
