I had a good time in KH, the tasks were easy and you have plenty of time to explore Cappadocia. Orhan and Sofis were really nice with me and helped me to feel more comfortable, Hector the dog was such a good guy and my best friend and my guide in that time. During my time there I was able to learn some Turkish words and recipes and I could speak with the guests and even join them to their plans during the afternoon. The atmosphere there is very quiet, the breakfast is so delicious and you can cook.Sometimes I felt very lonely and the dormitory is good but I was the only woman and volunteer.

Cappadocia is incredible, there are several trails to explore, and Goreme is beautiful! The hostel is very good, there is a little dog Hector and he is wonderful, he was my guide there (by the way, I miss him), I had the experience of sleeping in a beautiful the hostel, on some days while volunteering I had a view of the balloons in the sky, the tasks are simple, the people who work there are very friendly, the breakfast is very good, I learned how to make Turkish tea and I managed to learn a few words in Turkish. I needed to arrive a little before my date and I was very well received. Thank you!

Volkan, Safis and the rest of the team make a home, not just a volunteering role and I'm really happy I got to live in Goreme with them. Volkan's leadership is so comitted to his work and the work- i mainly did reception- is teachable since Volkan is quite patient. Food by Safis is amazing, and the environment is that of "just help each other" recommend the hostel 10/10

This experience definitely had its pros & cons, I would do it again but just some things to note. Pretty chill, the tasks are easy and you don't have to do much. At breakfast if there are no other volunteers and you don't speak turkish then you will probably just be sitting in silence. Hector is an amazing guide around the valleys & great little buddy to have around and all the workers there are super nice people :) Volkan is nice most days but he takes more time speaking to guests than speaking to volunteers, which is fair enough, but also feels like he gives the cold shoulder sometimes

Volkan, Orhan and Safiye are people I am really glad to meet. I hope we can meet again, I've missed you since I've been back. Volunteers can either help with breakfast service in the morning or check-in on the ground floor. You can choose where you want to help that day by talking to Volkan, he is a very accommodating host. While volunteering at the hostel, you have the opportunity to meet many international travellers. You can even explore Cappadocia with the guests of the hostel. the hostel is the most popular hostel in Cappadocia, so I recommend it to everyone. Thank you

I enjoyed staying in the hostel. Duties are really easy to do and you have opportunity to know different people from around the world although the social environment of the Hostel was sometimes really calm and quiet. I really liked my duties in the kitchen, but I had would like to know more about in reception. People from staff were always nice with me and I had good and funny moments with Orhan, Zafis and the hostels dogs Çirkin and Héctor!!! These dogs are amazing, cute and like adventures a lot haha. And about Gorime, this place is incredible and always things and places to do :)

It was ok, I had a nice time in Goreme. It's the perfect place for hiking and really immersing in nature. The valleys and mountains are one of a kind. The tasks were easy and light, but there was no clear schedule so it was a little tricky to plan your day.
