The main objectives are: - develop the site according to a permaculture design and finish the small house for guests. - promote permaculture and activism through practical projects and courses. 4 hours per day would be for projects and 1h would be for preparing meals all together The project is a collaboration between Anna herself and any permaculture teachers, volunteers, friends and travellers. Great relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city (something which you realise even more so once you return to one) yet with the added bonus of gratification felt at the end of each "working" day knowing that you've helped out towards something which you consider important (and rightfully so!).
The numbers are not too high at Boodaville, so be prepared to enjoy to certain amount of solitude. This is more of a relaxing retreat where a lot can be learned about permaculture, other travellers, and most prominently in my case; yourself.
Great place. Great experience. Will be back!
