You will spend time working alongside a dental and his/her staff in a dental clinic.


24 hours of help per week

Arts: Professional painting, sculpting or drawing.

Program Details

In our Colombia Pre-Dental Internship, you will work with Arbelaez Family
Dentistry, a Mom-Dad-Son team of very experienced dentists, who run a very
successful national practice where you may experience endodontics, geriatric
dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, special needs dentistry,
pediatric dentistry may choose to join dental public health mobile clinics for
underserved neighborhoods or villages. You may also visit and be invited to
join classes at a dental schools and dental hygienist technical colleges. The
opportunity to visit a Dental Stem Cell Research Bank is also available.
you will
immerse yourself in Spanish geometrically improving your Spanish language skills, especially in career-specific medical Spanish. No doubt, you will stand-out from the crowd at dental school.

Activities & Shift

• Assist dentist & dental tech/hygienist staff in their duties.
• Tasked to compare/contrast Colombian practices vs. U.S. practices then make presentation
• Support in the review of current internal operations processes & procedures for improvement
• Support in the daily tasks and other duties assigned by supervisor

We are NOT a free lodging program. It costs fifteen dollars per day to participate in our program. The fee covers your lodging in our guest house facility and the program. You must accept being part of the team, from the arrival of the students until the departure of the students.
