The Experience

We are open this hostel and coffee shop proximately and also we are running already the tour operator. We are located in the lake atitlan shore, nice lake view and eco friendly spot. We still cleaning and designing all the areas. We already have two cabins and the bar but we need to expand and built some cabins extra.

Salvador e Elma, duas pessoas muito respeitosas e acolhedoras, tive momentos muito bons em San Juan La Laguna, as cabanas são limpas o ambiente super tranquilo, as tarefas e horários são bem definidos, e tem o Firo e a Dumbo que são dois cachorros que fazem a energia do ambiente ser um lugar ainda mais especial! Gostei muito da minha estadia :)

Es un lugar súper bello, justo en frente del lago. Las tareas fueron sencillas (limpieza y ser mesera). El staff fue amable y estaban felices de compartir su cultura conmigo. La comunicación con el host fue un poco difícil porque no solía contestar los mensajes para responder las dudas que tenía. Tienen un horario máximo de llegada (tipo 10 pm). Si no llegas a esa hora, tienes que buscar otro sitio para dormir. Creo que es totalmente válido, pues tienen cosas de valor, pero se debería poner en la descripción del voluntariado para tenerlo en cuenta cuando apliques. Son buena gente! Suerte!

Lastimosamente tuvimos que acortar su estadia con nosotros ya que se altero el orden al haber ingresado de la manera irresponsable y no educada, a pesar de que se le aclaro cuando hablamos de ese tema. Lo sentimos por la decision de rescindir el acuerdo y creemos que eso pudo haberle complicado su plan, pero no era permitido esas acciones.

Una experiencia increíble. Todos fueron amables y atentos en todo momento. Salvador sabe mucho sobre Guatemala y te explica muchas cosas sobre el país. Siempre esta abierto a responder tus preguntas. Además me ayudo mucho para daber a dónde ir y como. El lugar es una joya, en frente del lago. Sin duda volveré en algún momento.

Realmente el lugar te hace conectar, la experiencia de los amaneceres frente al lago, la conexión con la naturaleza y sobretodo el sumergirte en la cultura con las personas y la comida es increíble ❤️

¡Todo fue maravilloso! Tuvimos un cambio de planes de un proyecto a otro pero fue genial para mí, ¡ Tranquilo! Pude conocer más la ciudad de SAN Juan de laguna. Llegué un poco enfermo y el personal fue muy comprensible y tranquilo, dejándome descansar. ¡Todo lo que está incluido se ha cumplido, especialmente los el camping del volcán acatenango (fue perfecto) y maya face! ¡Muy feliz de disfrutar de esta increíble experiencia! ¡Lo recomiendo a todos!
