This is a Fair Trade Project working with wayuu Indigenous artisans in La Guajira Colombia in a intercultural project. You can learn about wayuu people, and you can participate in this project supporting women in the creation of oportunities to sell their creations in fair trade terms. We are creating new social initiatives for giving employment to the women, creating new products and open new opportunities to the region.
We are searching for people with open heart and hands help us in or mission!
We are a NGO, Non-profit organization, a citizen initiative, a social enrepreneurship, and a familiar social project. We can provide you the acommodation and breakfast for free. And we need some colaboration for the another meals and services we provide daily to all our volunteers and artisans participants of the project. We have a principally Vegetarian diet. In our house the meals are the best sharing moments day by day with all the staff and the collective. With these collaborations you are helping us to sustein up our initiative, in a solid way.
The volunteer must understand that this project is the fruit of years of work and sacrifice by its founder, to the benefit of the Wayuu weavers, following the concept of Fair Trade.
Thus, it is essential for the Foundation to be able to decide on the PROFILES that are needed, at a given moment to follow the development of the project. We would like you to answer some questions when you apply and if we think you are a good fit, then we will date an appointment by skype to deepen the level of interest and if you really understand the project well. If you are satisfied, the next step would be to send you the Volunteer Guide and Conditions of participation.
