The Experience

We are currently welcoming volunteers to assist us with some of our rural public schools that need help with the teaching of the English language. Our foreign volunteers will be sent to these schools to assist the Thai English teachers in their classrooms which can make a much needed positive impact on the lives of the students and their families. We can only host female volunteers, as the volunteer house is shared with female Thai teachers.

I had an incredible time at the project! the project is in a beautiful area, and both the teachers and students were so welcoming and kind. Teaching there was a true privilege. The students were incredibly cute, friendly, and excited to learn, which made every day a joy. While the accommodation for volunteers could use a bit of improvement, everything else was perfect. Sadly, my time was cut short due to a flood, but I would love to return to Thailand and continue teaching at this amazing the project!

I am very excited to have participated in this volunteer program. the project is very organized and the teachers are very friendly and welcoming. The room has all the amenities. The people in the village are always smiling and do everything to make you feel at home. And the food... Both the lunch at the project and the other meals are authentic Thai. Hani (the host) was always by my side to help with anything I needed. I wish I could stay longer. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to experience teaching (the children love interacting with foreigners).

I enjoyed this experience so much! I only stayed 2 weeks but everybody made me feel so welcome and went out of their way to help me with everything. I learned so much about the culture from the teachers. The lessons and the project itself are very different from what I am used to in Europe. Because of that it can be challenging to teach, but there is always another teacher in the room to help you with the language barrier. It was all what I hoped and wish for my first volunteering experience.

This experience couldn't be more amazing. The teachers are absolutely lovely people and they embrace you as a family member. You immediately feel welcomed and very much cared for. Kids are absolutely amazing. During the lessons there is always a Thai teacher to support you. The most amazing part for me, except of teaching of course was seeing how much the teachers care for their students. They are not only teachers but mothers fathers and friends. It's completely different than in Europe and it's amazing to see that. The teachers also invite you for trips to show you the local culture!
