The Experience
We are looking for an artistic soul to help us build a Kids Art Club for the young kids in the neiborhood. As a facilitator, you'll need to plan for the activities (coloring, painting, crafting, singing, dancing - any kind of art) for a small group of kids aged 4 to 7. You'll be provided with materials and help (when needed). The club is from 19:00 to 20:15, 6 days a week.

- Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Where should I start! I feel blessed to spend four weeks with this beautiful family. Terrie and Peter were welcoming, supportive, and made me feel at home. They shared their knowledge of Vietnam's lifestyle and gave great activity recommendations. Mia and Liam were THE MOST AMAZING KIDS! We had so much fun, making clay figures, painting shells, and playing games. I saw their English improve daily. I stayed with their grandmother and that was overall a good experience. I truly appreciate the time spent with them, and leaving was emotional. I'll definitely return to Nha Trang soon to reconnect!

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was amazing! I enjoyed spending time with the kids, whether reading books or doing the host activities together at the beach, café, or park. Terrie was flexible enough to offer the space to facilitate activities as I wished. I visited during the Vietnamese New Year, Tet. Had a good time meeting other families and learned a lot about local food and Nha Trang city. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe as Terrie and Peter were always willing to help me whenever I had an issue during my stay. Thank you so much!

I truly fell in love with the kiddos, Liam and Mia - super adorable and well-mannered :) Even when it was a bit difficult for me to transition, Terrie adjusted to also allow me to assist in other areas I'm passionate about, such as social media and marketing. Additionally, the private room has fast Wi-Fi and A/C for those who work & travel. I aapreciate the learning experience as my first homestay and WP adventure. Wonderful Vietnamese local life - Definitely recommend !!! !!

I MUST recommend this experience to any other traveller. Being welcomed into Terrie and Peter's home and to be able to engage with Mia and Liam was truly a privilege I will carry with me for the rest of my life. With private room at Grandma's house, your days are free to spend doing excursions, swimming in sea and generally exploring. At 5/6 pm you are invited to dinner with the family who offer a variety of local meals, where you can learn and exchange cultural ideas and lessons. After that, you can play with the wonderful children, arts and crafts or maths the project lessons.
