Program Details

There are various jobs on our land at the moment more are suitable for the experienced land workers/gardeners/builders. Besides the day to day activities like working in the vegetable garden, caring for the fruit trees and animals there is always some projects going on. The day to day work might be done on your own (after you have been properly thought/instructed what to do), but the projects is something we will do together. We want to offer you the full experience of working and living on the farm as we do. That also means you will participate in the household.
The work that we will ask you to do depends on your skills, experience, likes and ability/condition. It is important for us to know which work motivates you and what your experience is.

Activities & Shift

We ask you to help us 25 hours a week. Our working day looks as follows: We will get up at 7.30 in the morning (depending on the temperature it might be earlier in summer), have breakfast at 8.00, have a small meeting to organise the work , get to work at about 8.30. We will have meals at about 13.00 and 19.00. We eat mostly vegetarian, but not vegan .
The weekends are off. There is no weekend program, but if some-one comes up with a plan it is occasionally possible to do something together. For the rest you have to find your own way.

Rules

The minimum length of stay is three weeks. A longer stay can be discussed after we know each other a bit better.
During the weekends we cook and eat together and you have to let us know if you do not want to join the weekend meals. Apart from the meals we will ask you to give us some privacy during the weekends.
