Wow what can I say about this experience.... Truly a life changing experience. Before we even left our home country we were made to feel completely comfortable with our hosts. This was reaffirmed when we arrived and continued through our entire 3 month stay. Our hosts Frederico & Maria are an amazing couple with a young baby, 3 dogs and a large extended family. We got to know so many of their family and friends and can now call them our friends too. The work was interesting and varied on the farm, with no two days the same. Be prepared to work hard but also have lots of fun!!!

O Horátio e a sua mulher Pat foram uns Voluntários fantásticos, nem posso chamar "voluntários", mas sim amigos e colegas. Nos 3 meses em que estiveram em minha casa, mostraram sempre disponibilidade para ajudar, trabalhar, a qualquer hora ou momento do dia. Um casal muito simpático, ajudando os nossos hospedes, os nossos animais aqui na Quinta, até mesmo as flores ficaram mais bonitas e verdes quando eles estavam cá. Partilhamos e aprendemos um pouco de ambas as culturas, onde partilhamos algumas experiências. Espero que eles voltem e até mesmo por onde eles passem no futuro, deixem a sua "marca", energia , como aqui deixaram. Um Até breve assim espero, e já tenho saudades dos fantásticos cozinhados do Horátio!!!! Nota 5 !!! :)
