Hello, we are a young hostel in Genova and we are looking for volunteers to help with our hostel. We would love a person that can help us with talking to guests, making plans with them and helping a little around easy hostel tasks (reception and some cleaning). This is a city with a lot of things to do and discover. You will become part of our family and have fun with the staff!

Home away from home is the best definition for Abbey Hostel: you feel part of the family since your arrival. The shifts are really well organized, the tasks are fair, you can learn so much about a hostel routine and you can have a lot of fun (these people like to party!).
This was my first experience with Worldpackers and, for suure, it couldn't be better! Ba, Vale, Joji and all the team, you're in my heart ❤

Briefly? Go for it! I had never traveled abroad and I couldn't have had a better first experience than this. All the staff and friends at the hostel made me feel that I really was in a cozy home, full of love, fun moments, happiness and companionship, certainly one of the best experiences of my life that I will keep forever. I only have one regret: not having stayed any longer. Besides, I don't know if I fell in love with the city because of the people I met, but Genoa has a unique energy and also the most incredible sunset. So, better hostel and better city, why not?

Abbey Hostel was definitely one of the best places where I’ve volunteered. Not only is the schedule fair and the tasks simple and very well explained but also the hostel life and the people around it what makes this an unforgettable experience. There’s always something going on and the hostel provides basically everything you might need. Joana, Vale, Bárbara and Stefi are the coolest, most generous and caring people you can meet. I’m really grateful for my time there and I already miss the hostel and the other volunteers. Thank you, guys! I hope to come back to visit you soon!

A great experience! The people were adorable and ready to help, we had many diners together. At Abbey, you will make many friends, speak many languages and discover many cultures. The work in winter is easy as the hostel is quieter, you have the time to learn properly. They are used to receiving volunteers so all is working really well.
The place for volunteers has an amazing view and offers great sunsets! And you get healthier climbing all those steps up :p Genova is an amazing city to be in, beautiful, surprising, offering many things to do during your free time. Roma?Has-been! Chose Genova!

I had in the hostel one of the funnest and complete experience travelling! I met really good people from all around the world like staff or volunteers, in one of the most complete and beautiful hostel. Since the first day the staff made me feel welcome and part of the group. All of them are ready to help you in any situation. This is the best way to meet genoa, with warm and cool people that introduce you to the city. Good team food, talks and love is guaranteed, that is why too easy to get fond of them. Thank you for everything and I hope see you again in summer season!
