I recently spent two months in Ireland working here, and it was an incredible experience. Living in such beautiful nature was a dream, and the family I stayed with was amazingly welcoming. I had the chance to da lot of fun activities with the horses, from riding on treks through stunning landscapes to learning more about breeding. The entire experience was enriching and unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves the farm world of horses while enjoying the best of Irish hospitality.

A wonderful experience! It was lovely connecting with the horses and getting in touch with nature. Connemara is absolutely stunning, the views and scenery are breathtaking so if you like exploring the outdoors, you'll love the area! There were several foals the farm stables during my stay which was my absolute highlight - they are so gorgeous. Never went hungry, always had enough food and it was fun being able to cook for myself. I had a great time and would recommend to other travelers wanting to connect with nature and do manual, outdoors work.

Hi Zoe,

>>> 5 STARS FOR ZOE <<<

Thank you so much for your lovely review and I am so sorry I missed the cut-off time to leave the review for you which I went to do several times but as you know how busy it gets in here and I got sidetracked!

So I will leave a few words here and hope that they can be seen:

5 STARS:
Zoe was a great addition here, she worked well and on her own initiative, she knew what to do and worked efficiently.
She was always pleasant and very helpful and nice and kind towards all the animals.
We might see Zoe again in the near future, wishing her the best of luck with her travels.

This was my first volunteering experience and it has motivated me to continue doing similar things the farm future. Being around so many animals and nature was amazing, as long as you take the work seriously and are prepared for manual labour, you will have a great time :)

This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing. If you're planning on volunteering here you have to be comfortable doing manual labor outdoors, but know that you'll learn so much. The family welcomes us with open arms; they're so nice to us and are always looking for ways to help us when we need it.
