Program Details

A 2-hour drive from Medellin, the beautiful rural 'Finca' is uniquely situated, tucked away in a small valley, surrounded by a private stream, bamboo forest, with an open fire-pit and grill. Close to the famous 'Piedra', swimming, waterfalls and eco-trails.
The idea is to develop a network of eco-trails on the property, connecting the cabin to the river and decks. It's a 4000 m2 terrain with a stream, Bambu (Guadua) fruit trees.
There's a fully functional and comfortable (small) house on the property with bedroom and full bathroom (hot showers) and separate kitchen, comfortable bunk bed.
Bi-lingual (Spanish / English speaking) couples that can commit for a longer-term are preferred - shoot me a message with your inquiries and we can talk!

Activities & Shift

As a caretaker / host, you basically live for free and have your own self-contained house, and in exchange help out with maintenance and different projects on the farm. This can range from e.g. making a riverbed with stones, organizing and planting trees or vegetable garden, build something with wood, etc. On average you are expected to spend 4-5 hours per day on those tasks, weekends are free. You're welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen, but it's expected you provide and cook your own food. There is also the opportunity to share meals with guests when they're here, or offer meals to them.

Rules

The most important golden rule is: treat the property as if it were your own!
