The Experience
We need help with cleaning and changing the beds in our small Hostel. Work in about 3-5h per day (from 10 AM..) and 1 day off.

I stayed for a month at the hostel in Liubliana and I have to say it was one of the best experiences of my trip. I got the chance to meet Neits, the recepcionist. He is a great guy and the best receptionist! The city is just beautiful, full of green areas and lots of activities. During the summer is full of tourists and it gets really lively. You can easily go to amazing places like Bled from Liubliana and you can cycle and walk everywhere! The tasks at the hostel were quite easy and Neits was helpful and flexible! I really enjoyed my time in the hostel!

Volunteering there was a really nice experience . The location is great, the hostel it's peaceful and quite as well is the city. I stayed in a female dorm. The tasks were fair and Neits is respectful and comprehensive, flexible if you need something specific to do. Hvala!

I really enjoyed my time here. The tasks are pretty straight foreward and easy to understand, tho it can be hard working in the heat, but you'll get used to it. When i was staying here i worked with Nejc who could tell me all about the city and was super flexible with the days off. The vibe in the hostel is nice as well, a lot of international solo travelers, i could easily connect with. Ljubljana itself is super beautiful and i would recommend bringing a book and read at the river.

The task was easy to do. And Alex showed me how she would like to be cleaned and showed me best way to putting sheets on the bead. Me and Nite worked great together and had good communication. The only downside for me is there where no air-conditioning (I should had check before I came, my fault 😅) and you will be only volunteer there. It could sometimes be lonely, but I just chitchat with the guest and sometimes did some activities with them. It could be hard to work there in the heat. But Ljubljana is very beautiful place, good place to start your Volterra work.

I profusely recommend the hostel, my experience here was awesome. Aleks is an extraordinary host: Talkative, kind and a very helpful person who gave me a lot of information related to my interests and needs and also allowed me to extend when my volunteer period finished. The hours of works are fair, the tasks are easy and you'll have all the information that you need to make a good job. The hostel itself is quite nice, a chill vibe, located in which I think is one of the best areas of the city, with nice bars and markets around and super close to the center. Infinite thanks Aleks!
