Carpenter/Building help in Spain


The Exchange

We are a community project dedicated to healthy living, sustainability, reconnection with nature and shamanism,looking for someone with minimum 5 years carpentry or building experience to help with various projects in our community.


Title

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops and care for animals.

Gardening: Help to grow and cultivate plants.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: Have a private room to chill and relax just by yourself.

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Tent: A billion stars over your head and a comfy tent to sleep in.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!

Dinner: Have your free dinner before going to bed.

Free Laundry: There's a special place where all the clothes get cleaned for free.

Pick Up: No worries! Get a free ride to get to our place.


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Over 25 years old

Program Details

We ask all volunteers to:

Have a positive attitude & share in community processes.
Work as a team and follow the community rhythm.
Respect the community rules.
Be prompt and reliable
Fulfill the required number of volunteer hours / week.
Care for communal spaces (kitchen, toilets, showers, internet bus, pool, dome, etc.)
Keep personal space clean & tidy.
Before leaving, clean their personal space.
Put all tools back to where they belong each day.
Contribute 20€ / week towards communal food costs.

Rules

We are strictly vegetarian, so no meat of fish. We also ask volunteers to follow our diet and not bring gluten or processed foods into the communal spaces. We are drug and alcohol free and smoking is not allowed.
