The Experience

We do a lot of things here at The City Farm Empowered. I run a farm first. We have an Air B and B to support me staying at the farm. We do a lot of community service connecting with neighbors. Technology is not my strength. I would love someone who knows the ins and outs (I use mostly Instagram/Facebook) of social media and how to increase our following. I have also published a book and would love help marketing that.

I had wholesome experience at the farm and feel blessed to have worked with Amie. Not only did I get to learn about sustainable farming practices, but also to appreciate simplicity, and have greater awareness of the immediate impact of one's daily actions on the environment and the community. I had the opportunity to work on a couple different projects around the farm house, and I was inspired by the way Amie showed up every day, with great energy, positive attitude, and willingness to teach and provide support. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get out of their comfort and grow.

I had a great experience at the farm and loved the work. You get a sense of fulfillment because you know the work is going towards something that will make a material difference in the community. Amie is super accommodating, gives clear instructions, and respects your time. I would highly recommend this opportunity for anyone looking to learn more about living sustainably while exploring Spokane!
