My experience with the Sae Lao Project was incredible. This organization is made up of some of the most devoted individuals I've ever met who are truly determined to address social inequities through education. The local staff members were incredibly welcoming, respectful, and so fun! I also met other international volunteers and we really all became a family while being there. There is a lot of autonomy when it comes to teaching the English classes but it's a good balance as there are translators in the classroom with you as well. There are lots of outdoor activities nearby as well.

My time at Sae Lao was incredible! The sense of community is strong and all the people are so nice and welcoming. The teaching and daily tasks were really enjoyable and rewarding. So grateful for Steven, Peter and the Laos team for organising everything and making sure everything and everyone were okay. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved this experience. 100% recommending to whoever is interested in volunteer travelling, immersing yourself in local culture and contributing back to community. Thankyou so so so much to the team at SaeLao, I love you all and will always remember you and my time here. I spent 2 weeks here and honestly next time I'll be staying much longer. The food was delicious, the team was great and the children were so sweet.
